2 August, 2008 - Meetup: Amsterdam Gay Pride!

This upcoming Saturday.. it's time for the party of the year.. ;-)
Canal Parade
SusanHoi and I will be on the Bumba Sambaband boat (startnumber #16), and Wiebke and Corina will be on the Cafe Sappho boat (startnumber #42). So we will be occupied until ~6:30 PM.
Many other LBExpat gals will be watching alongside the canals (Fuzzy, Neediamac, Melbee, ...) So you all will probably want to coordinate a meeting time/place amongst yourselves.
Dinner
After 7 PM, we will all get together for a "fab pride dinner" at Sarah's place. I am more than happy to coordinate things w/ the food. My idea is to do "gourmetten" (table-top grilling). It's reasonably little work to prepare, it seems chic when you're doing it, and it gives us an excuse to play with our food. I can bring my table-top grill (does anyone else have one?), and whoever joins the dinner can split the cost of the ingredients from the supermarket (meat, veggies, sauces, drinks, etc..)
Party
From 11 PM onwards, we will go to Girlesque at Sugar Factory. I was there last year during gay pride, and it was BY FAR the best womens' party that I've been to since moving to Amsterdam! =)
