Easy to Organize
- Volunteer activities
Example: soup kitchen, shoreline cleanup, collecting money for charity, etc..
- Recreational sporting activities
Example: cycling day-trip to Haarlem
Sortof Hard to Organize
- Guerilla Lesbian Club Nights
Get a bunch of lesbians, and take over a straight bar for the evening! =)
this sounds a great idea ...but we would need a lot of women
- Field Trips
Week-long trip somewhere (Cycling Trip, Ski Trip, Lesbos, etc..)
- Activism
The Lesbian Avengers in the USA do all kinds of neat visibility and protest actions. Some things could be occasionally copied.
- Community Building
Coming out groups, workshops (coming out, sexual health, STD info).
- Fundraising Events
Example: Drag show as a fundraiser for something.
Hard to Organize
- Book discussion group
There are more LB authors than just Rita Mae Brown..
- Dyke March (like in Washington DC, Boston, Stockholm, etc..)
I've always kindof thought that Amsterdam could use one.
